Beauty Strikes Back is the imaginative partnership of friends Greggory Pruett, Jonathan Thompson, Andrew Kleinman, and Tyler Gatton. Born in a small, dusty family basement, Beauty Strikes Back began slowly fabricating their compositions using a computer, mics with duct tape, and even a bass played upside down. The band began their creative alliance in early 2006, when, realizing they came from different musical backgrounds, the two decided to put their thoughts together and come up with a mixture of musical wonder. The group has a plethora of influences/sounds ranging from DJ-style beats and electro-rock ballads, to acoustic simplicity. Beauty Strikes Back has just released a 7-song EP entitled, The Art of Illusioneering, that is already turning heads with it’s catchy, creative arrangements.
